Safari Accomodation

CKS has selected a range of excellent safari accommodation within prime wilderness areas, so you can become part of nature and the bush

The emphasis with all venues is to have easy access to game viewing whilst maintaining good facilities and comfort. Your style of accommodation will vary according to your safari package, budget, and/or destination

Safari accommodation is roughly divided into 3 categories:

1. Luxury and/or Semi-luxury

This can range from a spacious luxury or semi luxury room, chalet, or large roomy permanent safari tent. All will have double or twin beds, private en-suite bathrooms with hot/cold water, all towels and soaps provided. Most have electricity, some have tea/coffee making facilities and sometimes you have your own veranda (deck) allowing for privacy and relaxation throughout the day

Some have an air conditioner, telephone and a mini bar. Some luxury rooms have a private swimming pool. Luxury or semi luxury safari tents are always mosquito proof with screened windows and built on raised wooden decks

2. Standard and/or Comfortable
This can also range from comfortable chalets, rooms, huts and mosquito proofed safari tents with double or twin beds

Accommodation in this category all has attached bathroom facilities with hot and cold water. Some with electricity some without (Gas for heating water and paraffin/kerosene for lanterns).Bedding and towels are provided and sometimes shampoos and soaps. This is the most popular accommodation category

3. Budget and/or Camping
These can range from rustic tented accommodation (dome tents), small huts, bungalows or hostel style rooms.
Most popular with overland camping trips, mobile camping and walking safaris.
Bathroom facilities are shared ablutions with hot and cold water (or sometimes just a bucket shower in some remote locations). You need to bring your own towel and soaps
